 Courtney Thorne-Smith is an American actress, producer, and author who has a net worth of $8 million. Thorne Smith is well-known for playing Alison Parker on Fox's "Melrose Place" (1992-1997), Georgia Thomas on Fox's "Ally McBeal" (1997-2002), Cheryl Mabel on ABC's "According to Jim" (2001-2009) and Lyndsey McElroy in CBS' "Two and a Half Men" (2010-2015). Courtney has over 30 credits as an actor. These include "Revenge of the Nerds II, Nerds in Paradise," (1987), "Summer School," (1987), and the "Chairman of the BOARD" (1998). Also, "Chairman of the Board" (1998) and the TV series "Fast Times", (1986), Day By Day," (1988-1989) or "L.A. Law," (1990). Thorne Smith created the mini-series Past Malice (2017-2019), which was released in the year "Outside In", and was a spokesperson for Almay cosmetics. Courtney was born in Menlo Park in San Mateo County. She is the daughter of Lora Thorne, a therapist, and Walter Smith, a computer market researcher. After divorce, Thorne and Smith resided with both parents through different phases of her life. Courtney's younger sister Jennifer is an advertising executive.
